A Humble Call for a Sincere Thanksgiving

This link below shows the humility of our nation’s founding fathers and, in particular, George Washington’s deep and sincere understanding of where thanksgiving ought be directed.

Personally, I do not want to soil this declaration of Thanksgiving. Please allow me, however, to briefly say that after having a total hip replacement, I am deeply dependent on the many around round me, especially my dear wife. A profound sense of gratitude often yields weeping. Perhaps coming from a “I don’t deserve this,” rather than a “you owe me” is the difference? What do you think?

May your thanksgiving be filled with joy and gratitude and a deep sense of awe!
